A industry is developed mainly in a factory which is manufacturing location. Usually is indoor and composed by specific machines in different types and sizes, which allow a serial production.
It includes production of metals, plastics, chemicals, mechanics, robots etc. Technically, we can distinguish a various way of classification, by quantity of employee , size or by weight of production.
Different Types of Industries
In this case, clearly we find three main groups: light industry, heavy industry and semi-heavy industry.
1. Heavy Industry
Are situated everywhere, but the main areas are around Asia or Southeast Asia, for example in China, Taiwan and countries like Bangladesh, Indonesia and Japan. They work as support for the rest of the industries.
Also, this sort of manufacturing could be classified as basic, because it does not only produce supplies for other industries by manufacturing row materials, but also determine the prices of materials like metals and plastics used for everything.
Regularly these heavy factories build huge quantities of material, which once it is finished is a semi-heavy product.
2. Semi Heavy Industry
This type of industry, basically generate material objects by using the pre elaborated products done by heavy industries.
Most of the time they construct equipment for cars in the automotive industry, aircraft industry and ship building industry.
3. Light Industry
Works with low weight materials providing items, which after logistic and packaging go directly to the shop for final consumption.
Generally, the machinery needed in a light industry is smaller and lighter, but anyway they used a lot of technology and prices are sometimes commonly expensive.
This industries produce a less aggressive impact in the environment because usually use less chemicals and leave less waste which in general cannot be re utilized or recycled. Companies providers of beverages, food, shoes, and clothing are involved at this scale of manufacturing.
