Roborovski Dwarf Hamsters (Phodopus roborovski)
Roborovski Dwarfs are another social breed of hamster, and they perform well in small exact same sex pairs or groups if they’re introduced at a young age. They are candy hamsters which don’t usually nip.
Though they have good temperaments, they are usually better for observation than for handling because of their size and agility. They should just be managed where they’ll be easy to grab when they leap down out of your own hands. They are nocturnal.
Roborovski hamsters are black brown with a white Stomach, white marks above their eyes, and sometimes a white face. They are the smallest of the most popular mosquito strains, attaining an adult size of just 1-1/2″ to 2″. The typical life span of a Roborovski is more than any of the additional common hamster breeds at 3 to 3-1/2 years.
