It is a lizard that lives in rocky, hot and dry environment, mostly found in Australia. They can be captured and kept as pets. It is an omnivore that eats small rodents, plants and insects.
Can be up to 43 cm long with a brown coat, or sometimes grey, with a flat body, head in the shape of a triangle and spiny scales. The males and the females have spiny beard which is more noticeable on the adult males. Can live up to 10 years.
